Hi. I'm Barry Lloyd, and I founded Antenatal Dads in 2021. It was an idea I first had in the first Covid Lockdown back in March/April 2020.
I found there wasn't much support or information on what Dads-To-Be can expect, and the role we play in helping Mum to have the best birthing experience she possibly can.
Everything I had found had been unsuitable for me, for a number of reasons: 1) The content was aimed at Mothers. 2) It was prohibitive due to the cost involved. or 3). The name was off putting to a man - too fluffy.
So that's where Antenatal Dads comes in...
In an effort to solve the three major issues I came across, Antenatal Dads offers content aimed at Dads-To-Be only... It's affordable to all, and not prohibitive... and the name is simple, effective and doesn't put men off - without being offensive.
You can also access it from your own home, via group video call. Each session is packed full of bitesize information, from the before, during and after birth stages.
Additional benefits include meeting other Dads-To-Be on the same journey as you... as well as banter...
